The Teaching Tips Machine BLOG is back!

As many of you know the server that hosts many of my web sites crashed and it has created a nightmare for my online business.

However, I hope to come back in 2007 stronger than ever before…

One of the first things I needed to do is get my Teaching Tips Machine Blog back up and running as the “crash of 2006”, as I now like to call it, mostly effected my blogs.  Unfortunately, I lost over a year and half worth of weekly teaching tips just like that!

Well, the new Teaching Tips Machine BLOG is now up and running and this time it will take on a new feel.  I will be not just be posting teaching tips, but this time the blog will be much more personal.  I will post at least once per week taking things from “the week in teaching” from my own classroom.  I will post what worked and what didn’t, my frustrations, ups & downs etc.  I want the blog to be about a real teacher in the “trenches” just like you.Why? Two reasons…

First,  I think too often people read my tips or ebooks and think that I have NO classroom management problems whatsoever.  That is simply not true.

Second, other people read my tips and/or ebooks and think that I am dealing only in theory and not in practice.  That is simply not true.

The fact of the matter is, I deal with the same highs and lows as many other teachers do.  And, the fact of the matter is I practice what I preach  in the same high-stakes testing world that we all teach in.

For these reasons I want to make my Teaching Tips Machine Blog much more personal…much more “real”.
